✨ Premium Imported Kinjirushi Yuzu Shio (Salt) (柚子塩) ✨

Yuzu Shio (柚子塩) is a premium Japanese-style flavored salt made with Kochi Prefecture yuzu juice, renowned for its high aroma and refreshing citrus flavor.
This powdered finishing salt blends yuzu citrus and salt to deliver a bright, tangy-salty taste that enhances dishes with zesty freshness and subtle umami.

Unlike wasabi salt, Yuzu Shio offers a gentle citrus lift without heat — perfect for adding brightness and balance rather than just saltiness.

Use it as a finishing touch on seafood, grilled meats, fried foods, rice, or salads to instantly elevate flavor with a touch of Japanese elegance.

Ingredients:
Salt (domestically produced), yuzu juice powder (dextrin, yuzu juice), starch, vegetable oil, processed starch, antioxidant (vitamin C), micro-powdered silicon dioxide (anti-caking agent)

Contents: 50g

Preparation:

🍖 1. Meat Dishes

  • Great for chicken, pork chops, or steak.

  • Especially nice with grilled or roasted meats — yuzu cuts through the richness.

  • Try sprinkling on yakitori (salt-grilled skewers) instead of regular shio tare.

🐟 2. Seafood & Grilled Fish

  • Ideal for grilled fish like salmon, mackerel, saba, or sanma.

  • Sprinkle lightly on sashimi, seared tuna (tataki), or scallops.

  • The yuzu balances the natural umami and removes any fishy taste.

🍤 3. Fried Foods (Tempura, Karaage, Fries)

  • Use as a dry dip instead of lemon or ponzu.

  • Perfect with:

    • Tempura (shrimp, sweet potato, mushrooms)

    • Karaage (Japanese fried chicken)

    • French fries or potato wedges

  • Just sprinkle a small pinch right after frying — it enhances flavor and adds citrus aroma.

🍚 4. Rice & Noodles

  • Mix into onigiri (rice balls) or sprinkle over white rice.

  • Add a dash to soba or udon just before serving.

  • Stir into chazuke (rice with tea broth) for a refreshing twist.

🥗 5. Vegetables & Salads

  • Sprinkle on avocado, tofu, cucumber, or grilled vegetables.

  • Mix with olive oil to create a yuzu salt dressing for salads.

🍟 6. Snacks & Appetizers

  • Great on popcorn, edamame, nuts, or chips.

  • Adds a gourmet touch to simple snacks.

🍰 7. Fusion & Desserts (Optional)

  • For adventurous pairing — mix yuzu salt + sugar (1:1) to make a citrus-salty sprinkle for:

    • Vanilla ice cream

    • Yogurt or cheesecake

    • Cocktails or mocktails (rim your glass with it!)

💡 Tips

  • A little goes a long way — start with a pinch.

  • Keep sealed and dry; moisture will reduce aroma.

  • Best used as a finishing salt, not cooked into dishes (aroma fades with heat).
